I recently developed a corneal ulcer and severe infection. I've been left with a corneal scar that interferes with my vision. While I don't require a corneal transplant, I do experience a lot of disheartening visual symptoms.
I'm hopeful that my scar will fade over time with the aid of steroid drops or that surgery can improve my vision. To try to reassure myself, I've spent a lot of time searching for encouragement online.
I'm making this blog to share the information I've found. I hope it will offer some comfort to others who find themselves in similar situations.
